Tonight's movie will be my favourite, Batman Begins which showed in theater world wide on 15 June 2005 which have a gross of $372,710,015. Highest among the batman movies except for the dark knight 2008. Batman, the man with fear but who rises above it. He is the silent guardian of Gotham city. He is the Dark Knight.
A man with a horrible background, witnessed the murder of his parents by a robber right in front of him and what left in him is a mansion, a loyal servant, Alfred and a revengeful spirit. Along the struggle to kill the robber, his childhood friend, Rachel Dowes, changed his vengeance into justice by giving him 2 slap on the face and said: Justice is all about harmony, revenge is all about making yourself feel better. Choose your choice wisely. Since then, he had chosen the correct path, the path which Gotham City needs most, justice.
Through his training to become the Batman, he faced his fear for bats. Fear burns in each and everyone of us but for batman, he turned his fear and rise above it. Using his fear as his power which makes him fearless and more-than-a-human. I like the part where Thomas Wayne told batman that every creature attacked because they are afraid and the more they look scary, the more they fear for you. Before Thomas died in front of batman. He told him don't be afraid. As fear can keep you from growing. He confronted his fear and turned it against his enemy.
He is a man who can take whatever it come up to him. No matter how sharp and hurtful your words or action can be, you can't bring down the giant within him. Pride, physical pain, or the worst, love, non of it can't bring him down. In the Dark Knight (2008), he sacrificed his name as a hero of Gotham city with the only intention to make Gotham City a better place to be in. Through all the things he did for Gotham and all he gets is a villain behind his name( with the purpose to reward the faith of the citizen towards Harvey ) . That's batman, the silent guardian of Gotham city, the dark knight who can take whatever it brings.
Batman is a very respectful character which encouraged us to confront our fear for keep you from learning and growing. He also taught us that no matter what happens, doing the right thing will mean everything. His concentration and focus to build a character which never exist is incredibly unbelievable.
Batman, an icon I will never forget and will always look up to!
